INTEGRATED ACTION PLAN FOR THE CITY COUNCIL OF MADRID (2024-2025) 

 

Design and definition of an Integrated Action Plan (PAI) within the framework of Order HAC/1072/2024, of October 2, following the regulatory bases for the allocation of the FEDER financial path to Integrated Action Plans of local entities, within the framework of Sustainable Urban Development, as part of the European Regional Development Fund in the programming period 2021-2027.

TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT - AUSTRALIA  (2023)


Screening Life Cycle Analysis study to calculate the CO2 reduction through the use of high-performance concrete and different mix designs, increasing the sustainability of the materials selected for an infrastructure (bridge) of the Truro bypass project in Australia.

PEER TO PEER ON SUSTAINABLE URBAN MOBILITY 

MEDCITIES (2024) 

 

Conceptualization and design of the peer-to-peer activity between the cities of Rethymno and Dubrovnik to manage tourist mobility in a sustainable way and preserve the quality of urban life. Both cities have shared practices and strategies to promote sustainable transport and regulate historic centers, considering governance, policies, technologies and financing, in order to better understand the problems and keys to success. The advisory services included some key recommendations for the future that could also be replicated for the rest of the cities in the network.

EUROPEAN COMMISSION (2024-2025) 

Advisory services and technical support for the strategic definition of best urban practices for sustainable mobility, nature-based solutions, circular economy, etc., shared between cities in North America and Europe, as part of the International Urban and Regional Cooperation program for sustainable urban development and regional innovation.

MADRID TROPHY PROMOTION (2022-2023)


Life Cycle Analysis of the international tennis tournament, analyzing the results of the last two editions, considering the areas of greatest impact: mobility, energy consumption and, secondarily, water, procurement and contracting, infrastructures and waste. 


Proposal for improvements for future editions to reduce the Carbon footprint.

LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT FOR PICASSO’S CENTURY EXHIBITION 
NATIONAL GALLERY OF VICTORIA - NGV (2022-2023)


Pilot program by the NGV of Melbourne, Australia, to improve the sustainable performance of its events, offsetting the carbon footprint of the exhibition. Life Cycle Analysis defining the areas of greatest impact. Positive impact through the regeneration of biodiversity in the natural corridor of the NGV and local social initiatives with indigenous communities.

 INNOVATION FOR MICE EVENTS IN VALENCIA 

EUROPEAN URBAN INITIATIVE - ECORYS (2024-27) 

Technical advice and guidance on strategic and operational aspects of the ZENTROPY MICE project of the city of Valencia as part of the European Urban Initiative. The project aims to transform the management of MICE events in the business tourism sector (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses and Events) towards sustainability. Through this initiative, it is intended to give an innovative approach to the concept of sustainable event management, contributing to the legacy of the city of Valencia.
